Jerrod Fleury

  • He views co-curricular activities as an integral part of the education process and can have positive effects on student athletes if taught with intentionality. He is dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of students, staff, and families in the Oak Harbor Public Schools.

    Jerrod holds a Bachelors of Arts in Education from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. He later returned to his alma mater and received his Masters in Administrative Leadership in 2012. 

    Upon graduation from high school, Jerrod went on to have a successful career as a college soccer player and coach. His coaching career includes 27 years coaching, 11 years at the collegiate level, coaching in the Olympic Developmental Soccer Program, numerous league and state championships, Hall of Fame inductee from Tacoma Community College in 2012, and his 1996 soccer team was inducted into the Northwest Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.

    Jerrod is married to his wife of 22 years, Becki Matzen Fleury. They have twin boys, Landon and Kellen who are 16 years old. Becki’s family are long-time residents of Oak Harbor. Becki graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1996 and went on to play collegiate basketball at Central Washington University.
