Alicia Ashburn

Coach Alicia Ashburn started coaching Baseball at Oak Harbor High School in 2019.  She attended Mishawaka High School in Indiana where she was a volleyball, basketball and softball athlete.  She also played softball while she majored in English and Secondary Education at Valparaiso University in Indiana.

This is Coach Ashburn's second year living in Oak Harbor, and she is excited to set down roots to make this corner of Washington her home.  She was born and raised in northern Indiana where she attended Valparaiso University on athletic and academic scholarships.  She has been coaching since she was a senior in high school, and loves guiding young athletes as they develop, learn, and succeed on and off the field.  She has worked as an assistant and head coach in softball at the high school and travel ball levels, and was an assistant at two different colleges.  She is grateful for the opportunity to lead the softball program and its girls here at Oak Harbor High School.
