On October 3, the Varsity Football Team played against Marysville Getchell for the Wildcats' Homecoming Game! Before kickoff, Football and Cheer celebrated the 18 senior Football players and 3 senior Cheerleaders for their hard work and dedication to their sports. The game kicked off with the annual powder toss, covering the crowd with a layer of purple and gold. During halftime, the band gave an outstanding performance for the crowd, and the Homecoming King and Queen Royalty were announced! The Wildcats showed hard work, great determination, and sportsmanship on the field. Ending with an amazing final score of 41-14! Congratulations to the team on their final home game!
After exploding for 127 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception, “it felt amazing to have the type of game that I had, but honestly, none of that would have been possible without the guys up front blocking how they were, and creating the gaps for me to run through,” said Dylan Ebersberger ‘27.
His first game of the season back from injury is his last home game ever, Malachi Ebai ‘26 said, "first game back for me, last home game of the season. I think it went well. Definitely should’ve been a shutout, but we just got some little things to improve on going into the next week. Overall, it wasn’t a bad game.”
