The Oak Harbor High School girls cross country team turned in an impressive performance at the District 1 Championships this past Saturday, highlighted by three individual state qualifiers — sophomore Susie Diamond, junior Adele Wood, and freshman Kenna Zwak.
All three runners delivered outstanding races to earn their spots at the WIAA 3A State Meet. Adele finished 7th overall, Kenna placed 9th, and Susie crossed the line in 31st place, helping lead the Wildcats to a strong 6th place team finish against tough district competition.
The trio will now represent Oak Harbor at the 3A State Cross Country Championships in Pasco this Saturday.
Congratulations to Adele, Kenna, and Susie for their hard work, dedication, and continued success this season. The Wildcat community is proud of you!
