The Oak Harbor Wildcats hosted a high-energy, fast-paced Homecoming Football Game On October 2, 2026. To start off the game, the student section wore their white attire for our annual Powder Toss to begin the night. Students were given cups of colorful corn starch that they would later throw into the air at kick off. Students chanted, “I believe that we will win!” while jumping and shaking the powder out of their cups. This created a cloud of colorful powder that covered the students in purple and yellow.
The Football Team showed enthusiasm and focus as they stepped onto the field ready to compete and fight for an important Homecoming victory. From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, the Wildcats gave their full effort on every play. Whether they were making a crucial tackle, blocking for a teammate, running the ball, or making a key pass, every player continued to give everything they had. The game ended with a final score 12-35.
